I set up my iPhone 4s with Verizon to add on an International texting and calling (no data) plan, and it shows in my account that it is on. However, I have been abroad for two weeks and have yet to get any cell service and am unable to make calls or send messages. In the top left, where my friend's Verizon iPhone shows connection to "Orange" network, my phone always says "Searching..." I am not in airplane mode and my settings show Voice Roaming set to "on," does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?? I am studying here for six more weeks and would like to be able to use this service keep in touch with my host family.
