I see that the Samsung Note 10.1 SCH-I925 is on Samsung's list to get kitkat. Any word on if/when Verizon will release this OTA?
I second this. There are older devices that have been updated to 4.4.3, yet we can't seem to get beyond 4.1.2. What gives, Verizon? This is a good way to turn customers away from buying Verizon tablets if we cannot count on getting updates in OS versions.
Are there ANY plans at all to issue an update for this device. It has almost been an year since this question was first asked in this chat and there has been NO response or answer has ever been posted by Verizon Wireless. Why? At the time I purchased it was your flagship tablet.
Hi Wpmle,New software can be exciting! I apologize we have no info on the KitKat software update for the Galaxy Tab 10.1. You can keep checking for software updates here http://vz.to/1ADdWiK . Thanks,PamelaF_VZWTweet us @vzwsupport
This is pretty frustrating. My "contact" isn't even up yet and the device is pretty worthless to me without being able to have it running on KitKat. Its proven that its the device is more than capable. I suppose Verizon just doesn't care unless you are ready to spend more money on an upgrade device. We get it, you are the largest provider and have learned how to maximize profits.... but your company can learn a thing or two about customer retention and truly caring about what matters to customers.
Verizon has no berring on the operating system and what device gets it ant what device no longer receives the updates. Samsung make that choice and your device will no longer receive any updates.
If you need the 4.4 version or newer then you may need to get the 2014 edition of the note 10.1 (P605)
