Why is my battery suddenly dying so quickly and also taking a long time to charge?

I have not changed my level of usage. A full charge used to last me from 7am until 10pm easily. Now I'm lucky if it lasts 3-4 hours tops. It's also taking a while for it to charge, much longer that it used to.
