I have been on Verizon's cell plan on my iPad bad iPhone for several months. I rarely exceed 3 to 5 GB even when traveling without any form of Wi-Fi.
I paid for overages on my last bill as I assumed it was from paying pandora at the beach for a couple days. But while checking my Verizon I realized that even though I am only midway through my new billing cycle I am up to a whopping 13 GB of usage even though I've done nothing different and have been in wifi most of the time. No new equipment no vacation, netflix or streaming pandora.
I turned off Cellular entirely on my ipad over a week ago and use on that line still rising despite the fact that I've turned cellular data off. A GB used with cellular turned off!
How is this possible? I was so happy with Verizon before this and would suggest Verizon Daily to others. Now I am waiting to hear back from my rep because I need to discontinue- I just cannot afford it Especially when I am obviously paying for something I am not using. I am really afraid of what the bill will look like as it is already way out of control and rising and there appears to be nothing I can do about it.
