this router has constantly used more than it should my phone which I do more computing on than my sat office uses 1.3 gb and this router uses 20 + and I'm not here but 2 days a week doing the same thing I do the other 5 days on my phone or laptop.We all signed a contract but has Verizon ever sent someone to your location to show you how it is using data? or why? THINK they are the ones giving us some graph that I could make on my computer. I called for 1 hour on the phone and simply don't have the time to follow up. Like most people. Fact is where the box is I have no choice but to use it (no options) and I'm over 20gb a month now. These devises are designed to use the gb because that's what Verizon gets paid for they are smart enough not to pinpoint any usage to a specific time of usage. Is any gov. agency watching over this charge? NO can they prove the charges? NO Has anyone ever got off the phone with Verizon within 30 mins. ? Not me! When I had ISDN service they charged for a 3.0 connection after numerous problem a tech showed me his meter and said look you'll never get over 1.0 here you are too far from the hub. When I called Verizon and asked them how come they can sell a service that they can't provide I was hung up on (accidently od course) 3 times and two days later my internet didn't work at all. You guessed it, we'll send a service truck out (next week) . So I got this rip off magic box for 20.00 a month with 4 gb which the salesman said I have never went over, 3 day trial. 3 day I thought ok. It was faster and more reliable so I liked it. FIRST MONTH 14 GB. I IMAGINE AFTER THIS IT WON'T WORK AT ALL BUT THAT'S MY 2 CENTS. I WISH EVERYONE LUCK WITH BUT AS YOU'VE SEEN THESE MONSTERS STILL USE GB WHEN THEY ARE OFF? AND CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY LAST MONTH FOR MY 3 SMART PHONES AND THIS DATA MONSTER MY BILL 462.00 GREAT DEAL THAT'S RIGHT I USED 21.73 GB'S TO A TUNE OF AN EXTRA 200 BEANS MY CELL BILL USED TO BE 237.00 EVERY MONTH. YOU DON'T FILL UP YOUR GAS TANK AND THE GUY SPITS OUT "THAT WILL BE 750.00 AND YOU PAY IT CAUSE HE PULLS OUT A GRAPH AND SHOWS YA WHY. DO YA? VERIZON IS THE CELL GIANT IN AMERICA AND HAS THE GREATEST NETWORK BUT THIS DEVICE SHOULD BE RECALLED. BUT WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT? FOLLOW THE MONEY! GOODNIGHT YA'LL
