We bought this tablet to add to our account in January because it was somewhat a good deal ($50 with a contract). I knew going into this it wasn't the best tablet, we were mostly getting it for my little sister to watch movies on while we were shopping or going on a road trip, etc. Well I wasn't expecting it to be this bad of a device when we bought it. I mean it had 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and looked like it didn't have much of a skin over Android. Anyways, heres where the problems start. This tablet is a 8GB model, you would think that thats enough space for apps like Facebook, Youtube, the normal google apps, etc. Well think again, you only get 200MBS of available app space, and most of it is already taken up by the stock applications from Google and Verizon that I can't remove and apps i'll never use. Then, those applications only get 1GB of storage for ALL apps on the tablet. So right now I can't remove any of the stock apps, and I can't update any of the stock apps in the play store because I don't have enough available space for apps, when I have 4.5GBs of free storage that I can't even use. The second problem is when using a SD card, I currently have a 32GB micro SD in it, I use the SD card for the movies for my little sister, like i mentioned above. But what I was originally going to do was move the google drive app with all her movies on it onto the sd card and then download all the movies to the device in google drive. Well you can't move any application, stock or non stock to the SD card, so you're basically screwed. The next problem I'm having is I can't update the tablet at all. I have very fast and stable internet at home, and the internet works just fine on anything else on the tablet but then I go to check for updates, I get 'Cannot Connect to Server'. The third problem is the lack of supporting multiple cellular bands. Meaning, if you're in an area with no LTE connectivity or no WIFI, your screwed. This tablet doesn't support 3G or 2G connectivity on it. Along with that there's hardly any support for LTE, so you can have full bars on your iPhone in the same area then on the tablet only have 1 or 2 bars. This makes this tablet have very very spotty coverage. This tablet is complete crap, I would root it and install a custom ROM on it, but since its such a crappy tablet no ROMS such as CyanogenMod want to support the damn thing. I suggest if you're looking for a good tablet for daily use, spend the $329 or $429 to get either a iPad mini with retina, or non retina model. They are much better, and support backing to 3G data connectivity, plus if you already have another iOS device, you'll feel just at home. Or if you don't care for data connectivity, just buy a non cellular one through Apple. Or hell, even if you don't like iOS then look for a better android tablet, like the Samsung Galaxy line up. Also if you do end up getting a iPad, buy it through Apple, even if you're getting the cellular one, the customer experience is 50% better than a Verizon store, and I don't think you're charged for Surcharges, and all those ridiculous extra fees. Anyways the main point to this post, if you're looking to get this tablet for daily use, for basic app use, and web browsing, look elsewhere.
