my phone powered off and will not power back on

How do I get my phone to turn back on?  It turned off and will not come back on.

Let's get this resolved! Try pressing and holding the power/sleep button and the home/menu button at the same time for approximately 10 seconds. When prompted with the slide to unlock screen, ignore and continue to hold the two buttons. The device will power off however, continue to hold the two buttons. When the Apple logo appears, release the buttons and wait for the device to restart. Please share. Thank you.
