How can I get hard copy (printed) of the manual. User doesn't have internet or printer.
That may not be possible. Today's phone makers save a ton of money via using online manuals in either Acrobat .PDF or just in HTML.
Also you could have a person with a computer and printer print out the owners manual for that person.
Or you could save it to a USB thumb drive and take it to Staples or Kinkos or other office centers and they can print out the file from the thumb drive.
Some of these places allow you to email the document to them and you can print it out at the store.
There is a charge per page. Most manuals can be 100+ pages or more. So double sided printing may be an option.
You could also call Apple and see if they can mail a hard copy to you. Again it will incur a cost.
Some manuals list a phone number where the customer can call and request a printed manual be sent to the customer.
Thanks for all the responses. I'm aware that printing a manual for every iPhone sold is costly and unnecessary. This is for my mother-in-law who has nether internet nor a computer, so PDF doesn't work. It's a Verizon phone so maybe they can send a manual in the mail. I could print one out but with the size we're talking a ream of paper and a couple of ink cartridges - not to mention the time and wear/tear on printer ;-)
Ibeck02, I know you were trying to find a Manual for your mother-in-Law, and we on here forum may have hit a snag but I thought of something that just might help her and and is in Paper Back form and is big enough you can lay it out on the Table and that is the Dummy Help Books I have one for Windows 8.1 I'm reading currently to help me learn Windows 8.1 well the Dummy's world of books don't just cover things for Computers any longer you can find them on just about anything and I found this Link for one's on the iPhone's actually there is more than one book..
