my phone just deleted all the contacts and I don't know how to get them back...
ENiedzwiecki,Oh my, sorry to hear your phone deleted all your contacts, let's get them back on your device! What's the make and model of your device? Did you have them backed up to Backup Assistant or Verizon Cloud? Or maybe your Google (Gmail) account? KarenC_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport

Did you have any e-mail account or other sort of sync account set up on the phone that has since signed out, deactivated or was deleted? Android's contact management system is broken down into layers. Contacts can be stored "On device" where Verizon Cloud will back them up. Other contacts will be stored on Google, Yahoo, Facebook, etc accounts that are in essence, "Cloud Storage" items. If those accounts sign out or disconnect, the contacts will disappear. To fix, all you need to do is sign back into the account holding your contacts.
Alternatively, consider these contacts as hidden. If you hit your Menu button, there will usually be a Show/Hide Contacts. Make sure there are not any unchecked contact lists that may contain your contacts.
