You can then view your account activity.
If you are not the owner of the account you have limited ability on the web portal.

If you are on a post paid (contract or EDGE) account, you can login with your phone number (create a My Verizon account if you don't already have it set up - each line on a share or family plan can, and should, have a separate unique login). From there you will be able to see the call and messaging details for your line, or for all lines on the plan if you are the account owner.
Pre-paid accounts do not have the ability to see call logs. You can view the logs on the phone.
