Actually not, lol. He has a Droid Eris and is [probably] distrought because he doesn't have the 2.0(and/or .1) update yet.
And to answer your question OP, no. You shouldn't 'give up' just because HTC hasn't released your update.
Verizon said 1st quarter of 2010. That gives you a couple more months to wait. Be patient.
