What is that pre-ring when dialing/sending a phone#??
On some phones there is an option for a "connection tone" - a 3 tone or 2 tone beep that happens when the connection is made, just prior to the phone ringing on the other end.
What phone do you have? If it's a Samsung, the setting is under Sound >> Samsung apps >> Call >>Call Alerts >> Call Connect tone. (Yeah, it's buried pretty well). On other devices it is probably a similar path to find the setting and toggle it off or on, your preference.
