went to screen, and it looked like an official verizon site, but did not go further until I get confirmation from verizon. Thanks for any help!
Its a scam.
It wants you to enter your login and password info to scam you.
Never click on their links.
A view source in your browser will show its not directed to a real Verizon wireless web address.

It's easy to recognize the latest round of scams ... the credit amount always equals the number in the URL.

Yes, forward texts to SPAM (7726).
I just received this too. But it was a robocall rather than a text message. It came from 800-922-6883.
Received a call at 8:19 from 800-922-6883 ... Myverizon41.com was registered in the Dominican Republic about 24 hours ago.
Thanks everybody. I got a call from 800-922-5455 that said to go to www.38verizon.com to log in and redeem my 38 dollars. I'm wondering if I should report it to verizon? I'll look for an easy way to do that.
There is no 'easy' way to contact Verizon. You might try posting something on their facebook page or tweeting their twitter.
I ended up sending an email to phishing@verizonwireless.comjust to let them know. I don't know if they follow up on these things or not.
