droid maxx Bluetooth issues.

Anyone one else having this issue. Bluetooth headset mutes itself randomly during call. We have done everything possible. Hard reset to new phone sent. This is driving me insane. I drive for a living and rely on my headset. My droid bionic never had this issue. Will the future lollipop take care of this.

I'd try another bt headset out .then purchase it immediately

Two separate headsets bought. Two different brands. Each was 100+ dollars. Same issue.

Reactivate the bionic . Machine to rule all machines . No I know that's gone . Seems like you've done everything. Be careful not to drop it or you'd have to spend another $100 for insurance claim.

Well, sounds like there is a defect in the phone, so it might be eligible for warranty... Unless there may be something with the case you have on the phone, might impede the signal...

EDIT: my bad, now I see that you already got a replacement already

My wife has a new (for just about 2 weeks) Motorola DROID MAXX (her last phone was an iPhone) and it just stopped connecting to our car's Bluetooth last night. I checked the settings and it shows that it is on, when I tap the car device to connect on the phone and tell the car to connect it fails. The car's Bluetooth is fine since it will connect up to my Microsoft Lumia 735 Windows phone just fine.

So before we go through Verizon tech support about a faulty phone, I'm hoping that someone may know the secret fix, since both of us are new to Android devices.

Being able to connect your phone to your cars bluetooth is important. Let's work together to get this fixed for you. Have you tried going into your settings and making sure the phone is paired to your cars bluetooth connection. Go to Settings, then to Bluetooth, then select the Available Devices and select the one for your car. Make sure it states connected. Keep us updated we are here to help.
