Why is my previous device not deactivated?
I activated my Galaxy 4 and did a reset on my S3 but when I turn on the S3 to make sure it still works so I can sell it or whatever, the initial Setup screen keeps saying it is linked to my number/account.
Sounds like you need to take Sim card out of s3
I tried resetting it several times, including removing the SIM and SD cards; this didn't seem to make a difference. :-(
Would a recent Edge service update be a reason? Someone else mentioned that my Cloud may be keeping it attached...
If you fdr it without Sim and deselect auto backup it should have no idea what number its associated with
Gross - right?!? I've got a ghost phone I suppose and will have to call the Verizon Tech line to do an exorcism.
