Hello,
My line is coming up for early upgrade in the begining of April. Will I be able to upgrade to the Nexus One even if its only being sold by Google?
Thanks,
If Verizon doesn't have it by then, the only option you'll have is to buy it retail from Google. But then it won't affect your contract.
Check out this thread---->Verizon selling Nexus
Good point ... you'll have to wait for the CDMA version anyway, and Verizon should get it shortly after that.

Although traditionally Verizon customers are eligible for an upgrade and a $100 discount annually, if Google implements a comparable pricing plan as they have for T-Mobile customers, not only will this segment not get a $100 discount on the phone sold directly from Google, they will not even be eligible for the $279 existing customer price. Directly from Android.com:
I would guess that those eligible for the New Every Two program would lose out on their discounts, but be able to pay the $279 discounted rate. Someone like me that is only 18 months into a 2 year contract and otherwise eligible for an early upgrade would still have to pay the full $529 for the N1.
Thank you for your quick replys!
I guess I will be going with the Moto Droid bc I'm not going to pay full retail.
