Why won't Verizon release the Android 4.4.4 to Galaxy S4?
Because they are wanting you to buy an S5. Plus Android L is supposed to come out at the end of this year.
verizon is notoriously slow with updates, and you likely won't know when it is coming until it's pushed to your device......or maybe a few days prior.
Here it is 5 months later and still my S4 is on 4.4.2. isadfromdat. I mean, I don't mind upgrading to a new device at some point, but my S4 still works just fine. Other people/carriers have had 4.4.4. for many months already. I mean really? Really, Verizon? Really?
It is rather embarrassing. I'm starting to think Verizon wont release lollipop on the S4 either.
It appears Verizon was the first carrier to have released Lollipop in the US. Based on internet reading the Galaxy s4 is scheduled to receive, bit looks like you'll have to be patient.
