Cannot hear caller but they can hear me. If I place call on speakerphone, then I can hear the caller.

Cannot hear caller but they can hear me. If I place call on speakerphone, then I can hear the caller. Does this when someone calls me or I call them. The "Ear Speaker" doesn't seem to work. What can I do?

This phone was sent as a replacement to my happy iPhone 5 three weeks ago while it was under warranty. This is the first time we have tried to call someone and SURPRISE.... it doesn't work.. Help!!

Personally I would go into an Apple Store and have them warranty it.

Verizon will send yet another one if you call them and tell them its not working properly.

Never ever use Verizon if you can use Apple.

I would as well.. although in some places it's kind of hard to find there stores close for me it would be a 3 to 4 hour Drive to Leawood, KS but I though I would add the Following below..

You might want to check and see if there may be some debris in the headphone jack. This could make the phone think headphones are in, and behave exactly the way you describe.
