So, we bought four Droids so that we could all share location (using google latitude) and some other online work. However, after we set up parental controls on my 11 year olds droid, she no longer has updated location data, which stops one of the key applications we needed to use from working. She cannot synchronize some other apps, etc...it basically breaks much of the utility of the platform.
If we go around VZW by turning on wifi it works, but this network based parental control system is highly problematic. We're heading on vacation tomorrow and won't be able to know where she is (at disneyland) if she wanders off.
