Major reception issues with iPhone 6 (dropped calls, others cannot hear me)

I recently started using the iPhone 6, and have been noticing some major issues with just my phone. About 20% of the time when I call someone else, I will hear them loudly and clearly saying "hello? hello?" while I'm speaking, which means that they cannot hear me. Also, on many occasions, my call doesn't even go through, going directly to "call failed". Also, I've had several instances where the call drops right in the middle.

For comparison, my co-worker in my office has the exact same plan, with the exact same phone, and has not had any of these problems. From this, I suspect that my antenna is faulty. I've tried resetting network settings and all the usual methods, and am still hearing the exact same problems. Does anyone know the best way to get an exchange?

Same problem today with my phone usage in N. Dallas. I had call failed on 6 different occasions. I also could not receive the call. It would only ring once and go to voice mail. the concerning problem is that when I check my VZW call logs the phone is not hitting the network. It is showing on my iphone call log as Call Canceled. I rebooted the phone 4x today (soft reboot). I called VZW support and he had me "reset the network settings" which is found under General settings. I will see if that helps. I am running IOS 8.1. Very concerned that this is happening especially since VZW doesn't even have records of the calls failing.

I'm sorry your havings calling issues. I would be happy to look into this with you. What zip code are you in? Have you tried powering down and removing/reinserting the Sim card and retesting.

@VZWSupport I have been on the phone with verizon wireless today on 5 different occasions for a total of 4 hours and 27 min. For the 3 time since last week. Still only have 2 bars. Why is service so bad and slow. Why do I only have 2 bars everywhere I go on a 600 dollar phone with a 300 dollar a month plan.

Def time to switch carriers.) Did u guys see AT&T 's plan. )I've been to the highest supervisor in tech support and still have a problem. Apple and Verizon confirmed there nothing wrong with my phone.

How do you remove a SIM card from the iPhone? My phones me is 2 or 3 wks old why would the SIM card be a problem ?

Don't bother. That's just another trick they have u try that doesn't work. Did it twice today.

They tell u to pull sim while they do a network reset in their end. They tell u to pull sim just to make sure it's in correctly. I can work at Verizon support with all of the excuses they have given me

Hi, yes I have tried removing and reinserting the SIM, and it still exhibits the same problem. Again, my officemate has the exact same model, exact same plan (Verizon iPhone 6) and I have personally tested his phone and did not get any of the issues that I'm getting with my own phone. The ZIP code I am using the phone at is 02139.

Thank you very much for those details. Hearing that your office mate's phone is not having these issues points to something in the hardware of the phone itself. I recommend visiting a corporate Verizon Wireless store http://bit.ly/3SdsA to have the SIM card replaced.

I setup an appointment with the Genius Bar at Apple, and told them about my issues. They asked me about 2-3 questions, and then simply gave me a new phone on the spot (swapping the SIM card right then and there), and now I no longer have the issues. Bless them.

Having the same issue with Verizon....My husband has a samsung and I have the IPhone 6S. No issues up until a few weeks ago, is it the upgrade or on Verizon's end? Dropped calls and cannot talk in the house.
