new droid- lots of questions

 These are features I miss from my BBerry and IPhone

 

1. Can I have myself automatically Bcc'd on all emails I send from my droid without having to manually add myself in the contacts?

 

2. Can the phone be set to ring only for phone calls so I wont get alerts for emails etc but can receive a phone call.  I know I can set it to silent, but then I wouldnt be able to get an emergency phone call.

 

3. Can I sync my Droid calendar to my old Iphone calendar or do I have to re-enter everything manually?

 

4. Can I have a separate icon (is it a widget?) for each email account so I dont have to check all my email accounts to see which one received an email?  I know there is a shared email inbox but if I knew which account the email came in for I wouldn't neccesarily check it right away.I like how the bberry would have a star next to each icon when a new email came in.

 

5.  Can you make the font bigger ( for eveything, like when typing emails) not just by zooming?

 

6.  Can you make the widgets larger?

 

7.  I dont recall the blackberry having to be set to "push" emails at certain intervals. Why dont they just automically come in like the bberry?

 

I am not loving this phone.

 

Iphone was no good because AT&T service was horrible, that was my only negative for my Iphone, albeit a big one.

 

My Bberry rollerball died on me.

2) Yes, the phone can be set to ring for phone calls but remain silent for emails. Open your email settings. You should see options for notification settings: Email notifications, select ringtone, vibrate. Choose "select ringtone" then "silent." This will still allow your phone to ring for calls, however, when you get an email there will be no notification sounds. You can do this for messages and other notifications as well.

 

5) I have not seen any way to make the font bigger.

 

6) To my knowledge, there isn't any way to make a widget larger.

 

7) Are you using the Gmail app, the Email app, or some other app to obtain your email? Your emails should come through immediately depending on how you have everything set up. Check to make sure everything is synced.
