what is the difference between samsung S III and S5?

I have an S3 and eligible for upgrade, so thought I might get Apple 5, but really spoiled by larger screen on the Galaxys...cannot seem to find out difference between the different types of Samsung phones, including the Notes...can anyone help out, or point me in a direction to find out?

The Galaxy S5 is my favorite of the three but not far from the Galaxy S3. I don't like my Iphone5s too much though.

The Galaxy S5

water resistant---- have dropped in water lol it is

microUSB 3.0 charger---- looks weird same charger end as s3 with slightly larger beside

infa-red sensor---- works as remote for tv

finger print scanner

heart beat monitor

gorilla glass 3- very tough screen hard to scratch

battery is 2800 mAh--- lasts about 2-3 days usually

the other things are like the processor-snapdragon 801 quad core processor---- dual in s3

16 megapixel camera and records in full hd

has dual antennas for the XLTE Upgrade build in. Data speeds have 150 max dl if utilized right by verizon

The s3 will not take anymore upgrades past kitkat

It is prety much the same as far as everyday user would notice though as the s3 besides the 5 inch screen and soft grip back on the s5.

I have all 3 of these phones actually lol. The S5 is best of the 2 you are thinking of getting by far. Iphone 5S just doesn't cut it for me with the tiny screen and limitations.

The iphone 5's battery is a lot smaller but uses less power because of weaker processor and smaller screen, less quality. It has a few ups but you'll run back for an S5 or M8
