What is the fee to add a 2nd phone to my account??
It use to be $9.99 and $40 data fee. This is for a smart phone.
Basic phone is $9.99 plus $30 data line fee.
Good Luck
I'm not sure where you are getting your information, but it does not sound correct.
To the OP, the cost for a 2nd phone would depend on your plan. More information would be needed to give an accurate response. How much are you paying now? What plan do you have? Nationwide? Texting? Minutes? More Everything? The cost for an additional line would be different for each answer you give.
Old Nationwide plans would be $9.99 for the line. If you are adding a smartphone, it would be an additional $30(minimum) for data. Basic phones would not need data if you choose not to add it. Of course, your base Nationwide plan would have to change since you are going from a single line to a family plan. Minutes would also change as a result. I believe the single Nationwide minutes were 450, 900 and possibly something higher. Family Nationwide minutes were 700, 1400 and 2000. Texting would also have to be taken into account. There were texting plans which covered ALL phones on the account or ala carte per line.
If you are not on an old Nationwide plan, are you on a single line plan OR a More Everything plan with only 1 line? If a single line plan, WHICH one? Are you willing to move to a More Everything or would you like to add another single line plan. Single line plans on Verizon are now $60/month with 1 GB of data and $75/month with 2 GB of data.
If you are on a More Everything plan or are willing to switch to one, the line access fees are $30/month for each basic phone and $40/month for each smartphone. You also need to choose a pool of data which all lines on the plan would share. These pools of data start at NO data if you are only going to have basic phones on your account. If you plan to have a smartphone, the pools of data would start at 500 MB of shared data for $20/month.
Nationwide plan is $9.99 for the line and $29.99 for the data.
Its what I am still on.
My figures may not be up to date for the other plans. But are accurate on the plan I am on.
Depends on the plan you are currently on and the type of phone you plan on adding to your plan.
Those are not the numbers you quoted in your earlier post, though.
For what it's worth, that is $29.99 for unlimited data which is no longer available. If someone is still on a nationwide plan, they can add a smartphone with a 2 GB data plan for $30.
You had stated $40 data fee for smartphone and $30 data fee for basic phone, which is a bit different than your new post.
