I no longer have service since I updated my Iphone 5s to ios8. At first I could not see recent or missed calls, then it dropped service for a few days. SEARCHING... for signal.

There are three iOS 8 updates.
IOS 8, iOS 8.0.1 and today's iOS 8.0.2
Which one did you install?
Go to the Apple Support Forum or an Apple retail store.
Verizon did not update your device and cannot repair it.
