Can I buy my new Iphone6 at an Apple store and still take advantage of the $200 Verizon tradein an older Apple promotion? Or do I have to buy the new phone through Verizon?

I can't find any Verizon stores with stock of the model ipone 6 that I want so I am hoping I can take advantage of this promotion at an Apple store.
