How do I do a system maintenace charge

My phone keeps telling me I have not performed a system maintenance charge in a few days to let it run down to less then 10% battery life and charge after that. I did that and it still says that.

Any help would be great!!

Thanks for the details! Are these alerts coming from a third-party application that you are using? When did these alerts start? Are you using the original charger that came with the device?
