data usage and music streaming

Ok. I am quite new to this, so plz be patient...Data Usage and Pandora Music. I've just gotten a new car stereo and I'm wondering if music streaming is different from data usage. Is there unlimited music streaming or does it eat up my time like the other stuff I use away from home?

twflowers No need to leave the VZW family. We want to make sure you have the best data plan to meet your needs. Streaming music can use a lot of data but there are other options. Listening to songs that are saved to your sd card uses a less amount of data. You can try different mp3 applications and download songs over wifi.

It uses up your data just like anything else to use outside of Wi-Fi

It will users up your data allowance. Plus I may be wrong, but anytime the TERM "Streaming" is used, it mean huge chucks of data will be used. This is why it is best to do any streaming over a WiFi connection only for most of us.

Pandora will use about 30 MB per hour. Different music streaming services have different quality settings and can use more. For example, Spotify at it highest setting will use 144 MB per hour.

i'm wondering whether to stay with verizon or go the t'moble where data is not charged for music. i have been dissatisfied since i lost my unlimited data.

i've been with verizon for 13 years and now i have to Not listen to Music or news radio while driving or working.
