how do you send a message to a group in contacts?

I am not able to figure out how to send a message to a group I have set up in contacts. My text messaging is only allowing me to enter each person individually into a group message. On my old phone, I was able to select a group from contacts & send a message to all in one click!

Thank you for your reply! We have determined that the method to send to the Group is still by selecting contacts individually. When you want to message the group generate a new message and enter group name in the To: field. At that point you will have the option to quickly choose the contacts in that group that you want included in the message. I apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing.

I've tried that & just tried again. when I go to type the name of the group in the To: field, the group name does not come up. very frustrating!
