Do you think that an iOS device has better security then Android?
Report: iOS users care more about privacy and data security than Android users | PCWorld
I don't believe it. The pass codes I have seen used on the fruit phones seemed far more simpler than what I use on my devices.
I dislike using samplings. It's luck of the draw and things differ by demographic as well. You can skew the data by asking the right people.
I agree if this so-called higher level security is their it perhaps may be related to less apps available for iOS, not codes.
Very good point Tidbits.
The issues are that iOS devices have pass code, fingerprint scanning, apple ID, Built in device wipe and find features not under a separate app or apps.
Androids have pass codes, some have fingerprint scanning, they don't have a native find my android feature, They do have a Gmail sign in and recovery not much different than the iPhone's.
Androids however are not fully integrated due to many manufacturers making the devices.
Apple is standard in their devices.
Six of one half dozen of the other. Your choice.
I think that both have similar security in place and the phones are only secure as you make them, as well as the apps available for each device. If you get your apps from a trusted source, there should be no security risk from either.
Example my son uses an iPhone and does NOT use a lock screen or lock code. His device is completely unlocked and anyone that gets ahold of his phone would have access to his 12 phone numbers and 50 games or so where my android uses a lock code and just by default is now more secure then the iPhone
actually do the have a find my phone feature natively. Any 4.0 or higher device will have it. There's also an app where you can use a tablet/phone or do it simply on the web like findmyi feature.

Maybe in the past. Now Google has Android Device Manager which is native and will find, lock, ring or erase your android.:smileyhappy:
Thank You I was not aware it was native now.
I knew in the past it was all done with downloaded apps. And they did not always work
On my S5 and remember they also will send out a drone to locate your phone. LoL
