Well, you have unlimited plans and also limited plans (like the $35 dollars plan for basic phones)
Yes you would be able! $45 a month and you will go unlimited!! however, if you have a basic phone you also could have daily plans and the conditions may change.

Definately, your mother will use her minutes when calling you, whether you have unlimited minutes or not.
and if you call her, she will also use her limited minutes
