I'm on the Galaxy S5 with the prepaid plan.
I am repeatedly getting the prompt to upgrade to visual voice mail, with the major catch that visual voice mail isn't available on the prepaid plan.
Whenever I attempt to complete the order, I get an error message saying that it failed and to contact customer service. I've done that.
Things I've tried:
Force stopping the app
A rep "sent a code" to make the notification stop appearing for me
Removing battery and SIM card
Factory reset of device
Even after all these, the notification won't go away. Has anybody successfully gotten it to stop without actually signing up for visual voicemail? How?
Unlike in postpaid, there's not (that I've found) a listing of the account features in MyVerizon so that I can block visual voicemail.
