Unlocked MotoX Pure Edition

Motorola just released an unlocked 64GB MotoX Pure Edition with a T-Mobile sim and pure android OS. It doesn't support CDMA bands, but it does have LTE bands 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 17.

Does anyone know if this phone will operate on the Verizon network? I know Verizon was moving to VoLTE (ridding us of the horrid CDMA) and they also use LTE band 13. Just trying to figure out if there will be any major issues as far as service is concerned.

Unlikely that it will work. IMEI number of that style of phone isn't in the Verizon Wireless database of compatible devices.

yes it will work on VZW network without an issue. There is a bulletin on android central that vzw will allow you to add the phone on their network.

The OP asked their question in January 2015 when the Moto X 2014 (2nd generation) had a "Pure Edition" model. That model wasn't compatible with Verizon Wireless.

The Moto X 2015 (3rd generation) Pure Edition is a different story and the model you were referring to in your post. The 3rd generation model wasn't even a rumor in January 2015.

You probably should have checked the date of the post before you replied to it.
