How long until my upgrade date is reset after returning a defective headset?

I recently renewed my contract and upgraded to an HTC M8. It was overnighted to me on 3/5, but I didn't receive it until 3/9, Upon receiving it the headphone jack was defective. I shipped the headset back immediately, and USPS tracking says it was received on 3/13. How long until everything is reset and credited so that I may choose another device?
