I need a small to medium-small sized phone

I want the xperia Z3 compact, but I just don't see that happening and I am tired of waiting it out with half a year over contract with my Droid Razr Maxx. The droid I have is just barely acceptable for size - I still have to reach to used one hand to text, so I don't want any larger. WHAT SHOULD I GET? The minis available don't have the greatest specs (to say the least) and I am a huge phone user. So my issues: I want SMALL but I also want powerful. Since those are not both going to happen, what do you suggest I get that gets close to providing both of those aspects? My most important goal is a powerful phone (processing-wise) but a decent camera and additional aspects would be nice....

Samsung S5 set for one-handed mode? One of the more powerful phones available and you can shrink the screen when you need to work with one hand or use full size when you want. Just a thought. You make a simple swipe in swipe out motion from either side to enable or disable it, same goes for Note 4.

I really don't see any current offerings for phones smaller than the S4 Mini. 5.2 is about the smallest phone I see running Android.

We as customers absolutely NEED a durable compact phone (xperia z4v compact) dust and water resistant, giant brigadier and casio commandos are no good! Please please stress to the powers at be a durable compact phone is in demand, I do not want to switch carrier's!!!

I Agree with you! My sister got the Samsung Galaxy Alpha at my suggestion. I rather envy it. It is about the same size and weight as the iPhone 6 and just as solid and good looking.

I have the older Galaxy S3 which is close to the same size, but her phone is lighter, and a much nicer build, solid, unlike the plastic S3. Unfortunately, it is a GSM only phone and the screen has low quality resolution.

ITs a pity. I would prefer it to the S6, I'm not sure I like the glass back or the non removable battery.

I've become a Samsung fan. I admit I haven't even looked at other phone brands and want to stick with Android.
