After the update a couple months ago I cannot connect to my wireless home internet.
( Comcast ). I went thru ther hard reset etc. They told me there was to be a resolution to this soon. Is there one yet?

WOW is all I can say! I turned my mobile data off and turned on my Wi-Fi. I have struggled with this phone since this update. Now it is faster than it had every been.
But..
Is this app secure? Am I vulnerable now?
It basically changes the DNS address. This makes it a Google address in and out instead of your router (the issue) in and Google out. The issue you had was with the router address. You are perfectly safe.
