WiFi connections.

My phone will not connect to any WiFi. It is not my router. My husband has the same phone and it is fine. When I go to 'settings' I either do not see my router name, or it will be there and say 'not in range'. Or it is there and when I go to connect it drops off the list of available networks. I am using all my data. I have reset my phone losing photos and contacts and it still does not work. Anybody have the same problem....? Need Help.

Hello, What I found to be the problem in my case will not fix your issue exactly. It may help by showing what to try next.

I have a Moto G (first gen). Running Android 4.4.4.

I found recently that when Bluetooth was on WiFi would stop working. WiFi networks that usually worked were said to be out of range.

Turning off Bluetooth had WiFi working again in seconds.

I did the special boot to wipe the cache. I reset the phone. Still, a conflict between Bluetooth and WiFi.

I booted into Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Bluetooth and WiFi worked.

Was this a problem with the radio or an app that makes Bluetooth pairings?

I looked at each 3rd party app and uninstalled Bluetooth pairing apps until Bluetooth and WiFi would work at the same time.

Uninstall, turn Bluetooth On, does WiFi keep working?

I found the problem was with Gas Buddy 4.6.8.

Other programs that make Bluetooth pairings. Were uninstalled while Gas Buddy was installed. Conflict remained with them gone.
