My phone stopped auto rotating within the last few days. It still rotates if I open YouTube and go to full screen, but that's the only app. Chrome, google contacts, etc will not rotate. Any suggestions?

Motorola droid turbo: Sounds crazy, but I read if you drop you phone it would reset the rotating mechanism. I was skeptical at first but read multiple users had tried it across several message boards and it worked. I dropped it on to carpet from about 4 feet in its otterbox case and it worked! I'm not proud of it, nor do I think you should resort to that, but it worked...
One might also try to re-calibrate the sensors with a figure 8 infinity motion while holding the phone in large sweeping patterns.
