G6 freeze/lag

My phone started freezing up yesterday. It's more like a lag because the phone will catch up after several seconds. I notice it happens in every app and even on the lock screen. Seems to be the phone and not just an app. Anyone else having this issue or know if there is a way to fix it?

Lets keep your device running in top form, Esmo1818. When was the last time the device was power cycled? How long has this issue been occurring?

Past 3 days, LG G4, same issue. Numerous errors, Home Screen not responding-Wait or Turn Off. Same error with browser, even error signing in to Verizon...Verizon is not responding, Wait or Turn Off. Checking Wait or Turn Off still freezes. Have powered on/off cuz it's the only way to recover phone. Lollipop upgrade in place.

you might end up having to backup all your content and performing a factory data reset if you've recently gotten some update.

first try running in safemode

is it lagging on input? you might try this: download and select a different keyboard.
