Today my old phone started ringing, my daughter uses it for games now I can't make any calls or receive calls on my s5. I've had this phone for 3 months and this just started today.
You need to remove the old SIM card from the iPhone she is using and also remove the iTunes account/e-mail that is linked to the phone she is playing on. Create one for herself, and keep using yours on the iPhone you want phone calls to.
If your phone continues to not work, and the SIM card you took from the phone your daughter was using is the same as what iPhone you have now, you can try it in your phone. It almost sounds like she started using it today and somehow activated it, thus deactivating yours? Or is yours still showing you have service?
