How do I move a contact with All Contact list

I just got my phone two weeks ago and my contacts were brought over and arranged in the All Contacts listing alphabetically. All my doctors are listed Dr. Name. When I try to enter a new doctor it puts it in the P listing (his last name begins with P). Just trying to keep the same listing format. Any help appreciated!
