On 4-10-15 my son, who has the same prepaid plan and phone I have through Verizon, lost his phone. I called Verizon support on 4-12-15 and cancelled his account. He had $45 on his account, and I asked the customer service representative if that balance could be transferred to my account. I was told at that time it could and that he would do so. Today I check my balance and it isn't there. I called support again and spoke with another representative. She informed me that representative from the previous day had received my request and denied it. That is NOT what I was told in my previous conversation. I feel I was purposely lied to by the representative, who assured me the balance transfer would show up on my account the same day.
