Need Verizon support for (too) many simple phone settings

I have noticed that there are a lot of features on my (new) Droid Maxx that I have zero control over.

E.g., every time I got a voicemail, I had to go through the prompts to tell it I did not want to set up Visual Voicemail.  To get this turned off, I had to call Verizon Support and have them do it.

How do I get around having to call Support for app changes like this?

How do I contact Verizon to let them know this is poor customer relations?

Perhaps you should become more familiar with Android and the phone's functions.  *86 is an easy way to call voicemail without visual.  You can get around calling support by asking questions in this forum and by using Google Search.  Many options you can control in the phone's main settings menu and the menu in each app.
