I have had problems with my Verizon coverage at home. Over 75% of my calls will not ring the phone. I only know there was a call when I get the beep indicating that I have a voicemail. When I look on the coverage map I see I am in an area that shows 4G LTE coverage, but most of the time I have only 1 bar. I called Verizon service and the person on the other end told me I had 30 days to cancel if the service was not to my liking. Also, that Verizon cannot guarantee service inside buildings, and I should have my phone checked. Not much help. After this conversation I walked through the neighborhood noting my reception. Anywhere from no service to 2 bars depending on the location, so it's not a building problem. I also had my phone checked, and the tech could find nothing wrong with it. A week or so later, I called again and got a nice service tech that had me change some setting on my phone, and she changed some things on her side. She called me back on the phone to make sure it worked, which it did. A few days after these changes I noticed now I sometimes see 4G LTE with 1 bar, or 3G with 1 bar or 1X with 0-1 bars. Again, a week or so later I called support. The person on the other end said he couldn't understand me that I "sounded like a robot", and that I should call from another phone. I went outdoors during this conversation to see if reception would improve, but no luck. Moments later we were disconnected.
A friend (who also has Verizon and has the same trouble in my neighborhood) suggested to post here for some help.
