I cannot receive group texts on my Droid Maxx all of a sudden

I can receive group texts when it's myself, and 1 to 2 other people. But any more than that, it doesn't want to work. It has happened all of a sudden, at a most inopportune time - when I'm trying to receive updates about a family member in the hospital.

I'm terribly sorry to hear about the recent family emergency! I know how important it is to have group messages up and running. Any changes to the device recently? Does this seem to occur when a specific contact initiates the group message?

No, there have been no changes to my device recently. I spoke with a Verizon rep, and the only thing we've been able to come up with is that since the rest of the recipients are using an iPhone, that maybe they were set to iMessage only (I'm an Android in a sea of iPhones). However, all family members have set their phone to the right setting, but I am still unable to receive all group texts. And unfortunately, I'm not the only one on my plan having issues with group messages Another member of the plan cannot even receive droid-to-droid group messages.

We definitely want you to be able to receive your group message again. If those on the iPhone message you individually are you able to receive all of their messages? Did this issue begin as soon as you started the current group messages with all the iPhones? Are you using the factory messaging app or a 3rd party message application?

In regards to the other device having issues with group messages, what make/model device do they have? When was the last time they were able to receive a group message?

Yes, I am able to receive messages from iPhone individually, and I was even able to receive group messages from some of the recipients in a smaller group text. The iPhones they use vary from the 4s to the 6. I use the Messaging app that came with the phone, not a 3rd party one.

The other phone is a Motorola RAZR, also using the Messaging app that came with the phone. I am not sure of the exact date they stopped receiving group messages, but I believe it was in the last month or so.
