What steps do I take to upgrade to the LG G3?

My 2-year plan is finally ready to get upgraded. I currently have an apple iPhone 4, and I just purchased an LG G3 from Best Buy. Do I activate the phone myself, or can I bring my LG G3 in to be activated, recycle my old device, and buy insurance to go with it?

You can activate the phone yourself or in-store.  You can call CS before you turn off the iPhone or try to activate it in My Verizon activation page.  You should sell your old phone.  You can sign up for insurance in My Verizon as well.
