I received this reply from Verizon support regarding live wallpapers, problem is I have downloaded the OS2.1 and cannot find a place for live wallpapers to be stored, can anyone help??
I am happy to say that the Android OS 2.1 update was recently approved and began to rolled out to HTC Droid Eris devices. One of the many new features included with this update is the support of live wallpapers. Please be aware that we can not provide direct support for third party applications downloads such as live wallpapers. My name is Jeremiah, and I have provided additional information regarding this update below.

Looking at your account, I do not see that the update has yet been completed. The update is slowly being rolled out to our customers. Once the update is available for your device, you will be notified that a system update is available via your notification bar on the top of the screen on your Droid Eris. you will simply need to select “System update available” to view the update details and begin the update. You can also manually check for and initiate available updates by doing the following:
1. From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located on the bottom of the screen).
2. Touch Settings.
3. Touch About phone.
4. Touch System updates.
5. Verify the system is up to date.
- If a system update is available, touch Restart & Install.
6. The device will restart and install the system update.
