google play store no longer opens after the OS updaate

Go to the apps manager and select Google Play Store and then delete its updates. Reboot and try to access GPStore again and it should update and repair.

What is the make/model of your phone? Are there any other manufacturer installed apps not working on your phone?

I just updated to lollipop on my Galaxy S4 and all the apps are working just fine including the play store.
