LG G Pad 8.3 will not update to lollipop for some reason.

I just bought a LG G Pad 8.3 and its currently on 4.2.2 and I want to have it on the lollipop update. Every time, however I got to update it under system updates it says Software Download was Unsuccessful. I am on wi-fi so I have no idea what is going on.

Do you have the tablet plugged in and are you sure there are no interruptions with your Wi-Fi at the moment? Do you have data turned off as to only be using Wi-Fi? Have you tried restarting your tablet?

Unrooted. According to this I might have to contact customer support.

It certainly wouldn't hurt. You could more than likely also install it manually. There are directions online, but I would first go the customer service route.
