Incoming verizon e-mail not working

Since the change in e-mail settings, I no longer get incoming e-mail from my Verizon account on the G3 using the native e-mail app. Outgoing works fine. I have tried switching the setting on incoming around and when I put in the "correct" ones, it seems to connect okay, I just don't get any e-mail.

I am so sorry to hear of the issues with your email on your device. Do you experience this issue with not receiving emails from your Verizon account when connected to wifi and data? Do you have any other email accounts on your device? If so, are they able to send and receive emails just fine? Have you tried any other email applications to see if you still have the same issue?

Having email issues as well using the native email app. WiFi will not connect to my POP3 account, yet it works perfectly in my IMAP account. All settings are correct. Out of curiosity and trying to narrow down the culprit, is the problem email POP3 or IMAP? Does it work fine if you turn off the WiFi and enable mobile data? Please reply soon. I am going crazy!

I am unable to receive incoming e-mails from my Verizon account with or

without wifi.

Outgoing works fine. Incoming and outgoing both work fine for my g-mail

account (using the g-mail app).

The issue started a day or two before the cutover of settings (I believe

that was 4/28?). I had updated my settings at least a week before that and

everything was working fine.

The g-mail app works fine for my g-mail account. And I can see my incoming

Verizon mail if I use the MyFios app. Other than that, I have not tried

othe e-mail apps.

My problem is specifically with the incoming pop3 from Verizon

(pop.verizon.net). I have verified and reset my settings multiple times.

They were working fine until a day or two before the official cutover to the

new requirements (4/28?). WiFi has nop impact one way or the other.

I enabled my Verizon account in the g-mail app and it works fine. Still

doesn't work with the native e-mail app though.
