My last post was January 2015.

I'm disabled and never leave my house but yet I am charged for data usage against my line.

I have wifi and I always make sure my iPhone 6 is connected, yet my line is showing I use data.

My other argument is why I lose my one of my discounts just for agreeing to another 2 year contract for upgrading my wife's phone to a new galaxy s6. It was cheaper to be out of contract. I get financially punished for being locked in for another 2 years instead of not in contract.

iPhones are widely known to disconnect from WiFi when left idle for lengths of time like at night when you are asleep.  They then revert to mobile data.  Also, iPhones will connect to Verizon via mobile data to check for updates to the operating system and carrier updates.

You lose that discount because you are accepting a heavy discount on the cost of the phone when signing a 2 year contract.  Once a contract is over and the phone is then considered paid for, that's when and why you received the month to month discounts.
